Located in Coolamon’s main street, Coolamon Fire Museum is packed to the brim with a large range of firefighting memorabilia. Collector and ex-firefighter, Chris Berry, has gathered items for over three decades to form an impressive display. Chris tells his stories of brave firefighters and talks to visitors about the equipment used through the years. Items come from across Australia and the world, and include an old breathing apparatus from the 1800s, over 100 fire helmets (from the 1830s to today) and full firefighting uniforms.
The Coolamon Fire Museum is also the Visitor Information Centre.
