The first half of 2015 has simply flown by and your team at Accor Vacation Club has been busy. A number of the team’s achievements and some exciting new programs and initiatives are featured in this edition of the magazine, which I really believe will further enhance your enjoyment of the Club.

Accor Vacation Club’s integration into the Accor Member Loyalty Program is one of our major wins this year. For full details around these new and exciting benefits please see the following page. This is a fantastic acknowledgment by Accor Hotels of the value of Accor Vacation Club Members!
You will also start to receive some amazing discounted offers from Accor Hotels, so be sure to check your e-mail inbox for notification of these very special offers. You’ll find more information on how to take advantage of these offers inside the magazine.
We are continuing to progress with the Club’s refurbishment program. The Sebel Pinnacle Valley is in its final stages of a massive revamp of the resort. In addition to the refurbishment of the rooms and chalets, we have also reinvented the restaurant, bar and reception area. Initial feedback on the retro ski lodge design has been tremendously positive.
Refurbishment of Novotel Nusa Dua in Bali is also well underway, with the concept suite completed and now open for inspection. Again, I am delighted to report that the feedback from Members on-site has been wonderful. You’ll find photos of both refurbishments in this edition.
We have also recently commenced a full refurbishment of both the Coral Coast Resort Palm Cove, Accor Vacation Club Apartments and The Sebel Palm Cove Coral Coast at Palm Cove. I am also pleased to announce the arrival of our new General Manager at these properties, Jody Redman, to the Accor Vacation Club team.
Our Members’ traveling workshop program grows from strength to strength, reporting record attendance at each event. The team has already conducted workshops this year in Adelaide, Coffs Harbour and the Hunter Valley.
We also held our first Member event at Pullman on the Park, Melbourne. In addition to the workshop component, the event also saw over 260 Members and friends staying overnight at the hotel to enjoy the evening entertainment and live band. By all accounts, the event was a huge success, with many Members partying into the early hours.
Our second Member event of the year, at the lovely Novotel Brighton Beach in Sydney, sold out very fast. Watch out for more workshops and events still to come this year.

A big thank you to those Members who share their holiday experiences on social media, and I’m referring of course to TripAdvisor, Facebook (Accor Vacation Club now has its own page!), Instagram and Twitter. I really enjoy reading your stories and seeing the holiday photos that capture some of the amazing experiences your Membership creates. In this edition of the magazine we have launched a Member competition to encourage you to share those magical holiday moments.
