Dark Matter, Bright Light
Wednesday, 6th January 2021 - Wednesday, 1st December 2021Dark Matter, Bright Light showcases recent acquisitions of contemporary international and Australian works of art alongside iconic works in the collection. Taking its title from Olafur Eliasson’s Dark matter collective, this display brings together artists who often use elemental material such as air, light, fire and stone, or mirrors, lenses and prisms to explore the mechanics of vision, concepts of infinity and the outer edges of perception. Artists include Josef Albers, Mikala Dwyer, Olafur Eliasson, Marco Fusinato, Gilbert & George, Alicja Kwade, Lindy Lee, Nalini Malani, Cornelia Parker.

Festival of Motorcycling 2021 Motorcycle Ride Week

The event consists of six rides through the picturesque regions of the Adelaide Hills, Southern Vales & Fleurieu Peninsula, Barossa Valley, Murraylands and Lower North. Concluding with a huge display of Historic Motorcycles featuring 'Australian Made' machines, a Cavalcade Parade & Show & Shine in the heart of Port Adelaide's historic Precinct.
