Freshwater represents the Aboriginal nations of Far North Queensland, with rivers flowing all across the land and through the rainforest, from coastal Cardwell to the tip of the Cape York Peninsula. Big Talk One Fire Cultural Festival
Saturday, 24th July 2021 - Saturday, 16th October 2021UMI Arts Big Talk One Fire Indigenous Cultural Festival is UMI Arts' annual signature event, held at Fogarty Park, on the sunny Cairns Esplanade. Big Talk One Fire is a free, family-friendly event that brings together a concert with headlining and supporting local Indigenous bands, traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance, and pop-up Indigenous market stalls. This event aims to showcase and promote Far North Queensland cultures' best to a large and varied audience. Our Big Talk festival is a drug and alcohol-free event.
Tour of the Tropics
