The Art of the Possible is a festival created by students at the University of Adelaide that engages with the creative skills of students from across the various facilities. With a fun and engaging line-up of creative arts each year, the festival can be enjoyed by students and the wider Adelaide community.
Chill out on the Barr Smith Lawns as local musicians turn it into the Groove Garden overlooking the River Torrens; head to a final dress rehearsal of a play in the Little Theatre or Schultz; hear new compositions in Elder Hall; play video games in our Hub. No need to head off campus between events with food trucks of various cuisines, market stalls, op-shop nights, and so much more. They include a creative writing anthology of students’ works from various classes, which includes pieces of fiction and nonfiction, short stories, and poems. Explore the beautiful grounds whilst seeing what we create through our studies.
The festival celebrates how students combine creativity with their interests and studies, and lines them up for life post-graduation, encouraging them to continue to engage with their creative skills beyond university. With so many events for everyone to engage with, we invite students, their friends and families, the people of Adelaide, and any business leaders looking for upcoming talent to attend the festival.
