In 2021, Chefs Mug Chen and Chia Wu established Muni, a natural wine restaurant in Willunga, focusing on sustainable produce in Australia.
They believe in working directly with producers, practising the utmost care in handling and preparation, and serving dishes that reflect the sensitivity of the seasons and the tireless efforts of the people that work the land and the sea.
Muni has been included in the top 10 delicious restaurants in South Australia for 2022 by Delicious 100 after its first year opening. Owner Chefs Mug and Chia had been crowned the Top 20 chefs across South Australia, and been selected as the Best New Talent on Gourmet Traveller’s 2023 Restaurant Award. Their focus on the wine selection has also made Muni onto the Star Wine List.
