Hart and Hunter is a boutique, winemaking brand focused on producing single vineyard wines that show case the importance of small batch winemaking and vineyard uniqueness.
The minimal intervention winemaking style of owners/operators Damien Stevens and Jodie Belleville aim to reflect the quality and natural expression of their specifically chosen vineyards, in each wine that they produce.
A small family business chasing their dream of sourcing the best parcels of fruit to create the ‘Single Vineyard Series’. “The aim is to always credit the wine to the vineyard, to create wines that represent the Hunter Valley region and show a distinct sense of place, which are thoughtful and ultimately delicious”.
Whilst the focus of the brand is primarily the renowned Hunter Valley varietals; Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz, the pair also source alternate varieties, as well as experiment with varying winemaking techniques, to produce some really creative, alternative and textural wine styles.
The mixture of wines produced by Hart & Hunter exhibit a charming reflection on traditional Hunter Valley wines, as well as reveal the versatility of the region by unveiling lesser known varietals to an ever-changing wine market.
