Lilac Hill Park is just across the bridge from the Guildford town centre and marks the beginning of the tourist drive through the Swan Valley.
The area has three ovals and picnic area by the river. Facilities include electric and wood barbecues, tables and seats, toilets, tap water and children's playground.
It is known for its international standard cricket facilities and for many years hosted an international cricket match, in recent times played by Big Bash League matches. The park has been transformed with tiered seating and marquees erected for the crowds that come to soak up the sun and sporting atmosphere.
Lilac Hill is also a great vantage point to watch the annual Avon Descent in August and to enjoy the City of Swan's free family fun.
Lilac Hill Park is located in Caversham, just 20 minutes drive from Perth.
