The historic Rosewood Hotel has undergone a brilliant makeover that has retained the character and charm of its past while introducing a bold new contemporary ambience. New owners Lynette and Luke Chalmers have teamed with Greg Kentish whose Granite Belt winery Balancing Heart lends its extensive range to the list here.
The menu offers pub classics with a modern take at the hand of head chef ‘Veti’ who has spent time in restaurants around Australia. Locals can wander into the beer garden with their dog for an apres-work ale or two and families are also loving the lawns of the beer garden which opens out beyond the bright and airy indoor dining areas.
Live music sets the relaxed vibe on weekends and the venue is available for weddings and special events. The restaurant operates seven days a week for lunch and dinner luring Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba folk out for a drive in the countryside.
