Mozart’s Flute Quartet in D major, KV 285 opens the program with elegance and charm, followed by Jean Françaix’s String Trio, full of humour, wit and sparkling energy. The concert concludes with Dvořák’s 'American' Quartet (Quartet in F Major, op. 96), adapted for flute and strings, offering a fresh perspective on this beloved masterpiece with it’s rich, folk-inspired themes.
