World Science Festival Brisbane (WSFB) is an acclaimed celebration of science, ideas and creativity, and the largest festival of its kind in Australia. Founded by renowned physicist Professor Brian Greene and Emmy award-winning journalist Tracy Day in New York in 2008, Queensland Museum (QM) holds the exclusive licence to host WSF in the Asia Pacific.
The 2025 festival will showcase an exciting program, bringing together local, national and international thought leaders to address some of the most pressing scientific questions of our time. WSFB will explore a range of focus areas, including all things Quantum, First Nations knowledges, neuroscience, the natural world, space travel, robotics, the future of food and more.
Whether you're a lifelong science enthusiast or just beginning to explore the field, WSFB invites everyone to join in this celebration of discovery and curiosity.
World Science Festival Brisbane is presented by Queensland Museum and the Queensland Government in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland.
