If you’ve worked up a huge appetite while in Ipswich, you’ll have it more than satisfied at Heisenberg Haus, a family-owned German Restaurant in the Top of Town precinct.
Heisenberg Haus – which celebrates Ipswich’s German roots and takes its name from the hit television show, “Breaking Bad” - boasts a large and airy space with exposed heritage brick walls and courtyard dining out the back with big bench tables. Pride of place is the bar where you can take your pick from a wide range of fully imported German beers. There are also cocktails, wines, spirits and of course schnapps.
As for the food, all your German favourites are there. Main courses include Kassler, Wurst Sample, and the famous Pork Knuckle with Mash, Pork Gravy and Sauerkraut
Kids will love the Frankie (Frankfurter) Hotdog or Kids Schnitzel with Chips, and it wouldn’t be German without an Apple Strudel for dessert.
Come and enjoy the hospitality.
Note: Pork knuckles must be pre-ordered.
