Six Great Bands playing from 4:00pm to Midnight!
Peter sadly passed away on 21 December 2004 from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS). He was 26 years old.
The Bamford family is stacked with Muso’s and always loved a good party so it was decided to host a Memorial Concert with the first being held at The Old Canberra Inn in 2006. Ten concerts were held at this location before noise restrictions forced them to move the concert to The Bushranger Hotel in their hometown of Collector. Sadly the Bushranger has also closed its doors which has led them back to Canberra and the obvious choice was the Zeppelin Room at the Harmonie German Club.
Wally’s dad Rick Bamford has enjoyed a great relationship with the club through his “Blues” connections so to have The German Harmonie Club help host the annual memorial concert seemed a logical choice.
More details to follow including a fantastic line-up, but don’t let that stop you from buying your tickets early… all proceeds, as usual, go to the Centenary Institute.
Expect an evening of music, family, laughter, charity, new memories and more.
