Reflecting Moods - joint art exhibition by Chrissie Lloyd and David Brayshaw
Reflecting Moods is an eclectic mix of current paintings by Australian and international award-winning artists David Brayshaw and Chrissie Lloyd.
David Brayshaw has been a professional artist since 1982 working in oil paint and mixed media. Studies include Associate diploma of Fine Arts at the Illawarra Institute 1994-95, Royal Art Society 2004-5. Master classes with various artists including Reinis Zusters. He has over 40 art awards including 2024 Sydney Royal Art Show. David’s works are included in Commonwealth Artbank and many Australian and international private, corporate and institutional collections.
Chrissie Lloyd has been a full-time artist since 1990 working in watercolour, mixed media and acrylic. She studied with Pamela Fairburn and the late Arthur James, an artist of international repute in life drawing. Patrick Carroll (multi-award winning Australian landscape artist) influenced Chrissie’s use of acrylic and the way she “feels and sees” the landscape. No matter how widely she travels, the Australian landscape has her heart. Chrissie was invited to represent Australia at the 2024 10th Goeje International Art Festival at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in South Korea. Her paintings are now in the Museum’s collection.
