SWELL – standing for Swimming, Wellness, Events, Leisure and Lifestyle – is a newly refurbished leisure precinct in Palmerston, NT. SWELL offers a range of health and fitness facilities suitable for everyone’s enjoyment and activity.
In terms of aquatic fitness the precinct offers a 50m lap pool, 25m warm-water, programs pool and a splash zone for little ones. SWELL Palmerston is also Northern Territory’s first ever two-storey aquatic adventure play zone, boasting a high ropes and water obstacle course complete with water cannons. Casual entry to the pools and adventure play zone is currently free for everyone’s entertainment.
The gym, currently undergoing refurbishment, is set to open May 18 2024. There will be several exercise options for members as well as access to personal training. Upon reopening, members to the SWELL gym can expect to receive a free health consultation and program from the friendly and qualified team. SWELL members will additionally be able to access a functional gym which aims to develop the body to handle real life physical activities.
