The Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA) is the state's major marine attraction and is located just 20 minutes north of the Perth central business district, on the lapping shores of the Indian Ocean at Hillarys Boat Harbour.

Highlights include the Shipwreck Coast, Australia's largest single aquarium featuring a nearly 100-metre-long underwater tunnel.
