Join the Giles Family for a vertical tasting of reds in the rustic shearing shed-turned cellar door, nestled in the Willunga foothills just outside of Perth.
The Giles Family have a long history in farming and wine in Australia. William Giles was the first pioneer to bring grapes, olives and oranges to South Australia. Members of the Giles family moved from the Clare Valley to Willunga in 1936 to run a large dairy and sheep farm, which is now home to over 1000 sheep and 36 hectares of Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot.
The cellar door at Ashley Estate is open on the weekends and most public holidays. There are generally between five and six vintage reds available for tasting, and an additional Hidden Pinot Cave onsite offers tastings of the Estates Pinot Noir varieties.
