Hiding underground in an old bank vault built in 1887, the bar was once home to the Western Australian Club. The walls of Foxtrot Unicorn have seen some shenanigans in their time, and they're sure they'll see some more.
The bar is a jarrah-clad haven for booze lovers, packed to the rafters with up-cycled materials and vintage Western Australian hospitality history.
Expect to find all sorts of fine spirits, classic and modern cocktails, an eclectic wine list and some fancy jaffles. The bar is an ode to good booze and even better times.
There are a couple of entrances - but only one that leads to Foxtrot Unicorn. Face the building and enter through the sliding glass door furthest to the left. When you see a brass plate on the wall with an engraved “M”, you’ve found the right spot.
Follow the music straight down the staircase and into the basement.
The WA Good Food Guide is a celebration of all that is excellent in the Western Australian dining scene across all areas of cooking, entrepreneurship, wine, beer and service and this is what they have to say about Foxtrot Unicorn, part of The Top 100 list - "A subterranean central business district (CBD) saloon that knows all the hits back to front and plays them to a tee."
