Tyler's Vineyard is the quintessential Swan Valley image: hardy, 100-year-old vines hug the landscape, alongside a rustic barn. Owned and operated by the Tyler family, the winery makes Grenache in every kind of way, from unirrigated vines that to make wonderful, flavourful wines.
The creative range of Grenache-based wines includes a traditional red, a white, sparkling, rose and a Tawny port. Chenin Blanc is also made.
The owner-run, relaxed, ambient cellar door is open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and weekends. Families are welcomed at the estate, with Gilbert the goose, Gizmo the sheep and Howard the duck waiting to be petted.
The Tylers offer a unique opportunity for visitors to create customised wine labels for the wines they buy. Take a digital photo in the vineyard, design a label at the cellar door then print it out to adorn your bottle of wine at no extra cost.
