Creating great memories is what Accor Vacation Club is all about, but that motto is not exclusive to Members! Judene Mana, who is an integral part of the Accor Vacation Club ‘Talent & Culture’ department on the Gold Coast, will create some special memories of her own on Sunday 15 April, when she participates in 2018 Commonwealth Games ‘Gold Run’. Judene is one of 6,600 ambassadors selected to participate in the 5km sporting event, and be part of sporting history! Why 6,600 exactly? Well, that figure represents the number of athletes and officials attending the Games on the Gold Coast this month. Designed to offer the local community share in the Commonwealth Games dream, the run starts and finishes at the GC2018 Marathon start line. The Gold Run will then lead runners north to Labrador before directing them back toward the Southport Broadwater Parklands, so that runners can cheer Commonwealth Games Marathon competitors across the finish line. They will be there in time to witness both the women’s and men’s races. So while you’re all enjoying a sleep in on Sunday the 14th, spare a thought for Judene! We wish her all the best and congratulate her for being selected to take part in this historical sporting event. For more on the Gold Run, visit https://www.gc2018.com/goldrun
