The Aussies 2025 - Australian Surf Life Saving Championships
The Aussies, Australian Surf Life Saving Championships 2025 will be held on the Queensland’s Gold Coast at Tugun SLSC and North Kira SLSC.
The Aussies is the pinnacle Surf Life Saving competition and largest event of its kind. The 101st Aussies will be taking place over nine action packed days, hosting over 480 events, comprising of beach and ocean competitions. The annual event hosts over 7000 members from across Australia’s 314 volunteer surf clubs and international competitors, for the chance to be crowned an Australian Champion for themselves and their club.
The Aussies will crown the Australian champions across the three national championships - Youth, Open and Masters along with the Aussies Australian Ocean Swim.
From the traditional lifesaving events of the Rescue and Resuscitation, Belt Swimming and Surf Boats, to the modern-day Ironman/Woman racing, and its disciplines consisting of Swimming, Running, Surf Ski paddling and Paddle Boarding. To complement the series of traditional lifesaving and modern-day competitions, the Champion Lifesaver, offers competitors an event with physical, lifesaving, first aid and knowledge skills required of a Lifesaver.
