A special feature of the Connecting Northern Beaches program will be a spectacular 36 kilometre coastal walkway stretching from Manly to Palm Beach.
This once in a generation opportunity will create one of Australia's great walks to showcase the spectacular coastline and views from some of Sydney’s most beautiful vantage points.
With much of the Coast Walk already complete, pedestrians and cyclists can now safely travel between Manly and Newport with links back into Transport for NSW's B-Line hubs and services.
Northern Beaches Council are currently identifying opportunities to explore local Aboriginal heritage, the spectacular natural environment as well as the beach culture and history through the Coast Walk Public Art
The Coast Walk’s scale and scenery make it a perfect opportunity to tell unique stories through art that can be explored through a series of shorter walks along the track.
Once completed the track will be a unique and iconic destination for tourists, visitors and locals and we can’t wait for you to visit.
This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
The breathtaking coastline has the potential to be a unique and memorable walking experience and we are identifying opportunities to explore the beach culture, history, the spectacular natural environment and local Aboriginal heritage through public art.
