APY Gallery is a 100% Indigenous-owned art gallery that exhibits and displays the work of early career artists from the APY (Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) Lands in regional South Australia.
Through a dynamic, bi-monthly exhibition program, the APY Gallery showcases a range of artistic mediums, including paintings, ceramics, traditional punu (wood) carvings, weaving, textiles, new media, and photography, as well as indigenous gifts and products.
The APY Gallery exhibits and sells artwork from the APY Art Centre Collective (APYACC), a group of eight Indigenous-owned and governed art centres, facilitating and marketing the work of more than 500 Indigenous artists. All APY galleries work on an 80/20 commission split, which sees 80% of the sale price returned to artists and their art centres from each sale, significantly impacting social challenges in their communities.
All art is available for purchase.
