The National Communication Museum (NCM) is a brand-new museum in Hawthorn, based in a historic 1930s exchange building, parts of which are still operational, on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people.
Situated adjacent to Swinburne University in an emerging STEAM precinct and designed by award winning architects Carr design, NCM's visitors will explore the power of communication and the technologies that enable the creation and transformation of communities.
By engaging in conversation, risk taking and experimentation, NCM provides a welcoming space for addressing challenging questions in an ever-evolving landscape of technological disruption and change.
