This Spring at MoPA they're exploring 'Community'. Developing an understanding of community is one of the most important early learnings. So much so that many of the learning principles employed by Australian ELC’s are built on this theme.
Understanding community helps children feel connected and valued; it helps them form a sense of identity and appreciate others' perspectives. In effect, it empowers children to grow into compassionate, engaged adults who care for one another and the world around them. And it's why they've curated a range of new activities underneath a new theme they're calling Happy Hearts, Happy Places.
The new Happy Hearts, Happy Places theme will come to life at MoPA through a community craft project. They'll also share some of the most amazing literature about belonging, and explore how communities can come to life in dance.
All the activities at MoPA are included in the ticket prices, but the Museum does sell out so be sure to jump online to book ahead!
