The Inman River Trail takes you on a journey from the pristine waters of Encounter Bay, inland along the river, through woodlands and past the grazing paddocks of Victor Harbor's famous Clydesdale Horses.
This beautiful walk begins at Muwerang (Kent Reserve), the last documented campground of the local Ramindjeri people.
This self-guided trail is an easy 8km stroll following the banks of the Inman River, known to the Narringdjeri people as ‘Moo-oola’ and ‘Moogoora’.
The Inman River is home for several species of native fish that are now considered rare, vulnerable, or endangered including the Climbing Galaxia.
Take a moment at the Bird hide and sit quietly as the local birdlife surrounds you.
You will pass under the mighty Red Gums that flourish on the Inman River floodplain.
This is just one of the beautiful walks that you will find in Victor Harbor.
Reconnect and relax with nature, as you get to know this area better.
