Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival (MRRWF) 2025 will encompass a three-day literary festival in Margaret River, the Busselton Book Festival—a two-day literary event in Busselton with special events in Dunsborough and Yallingup—and the Young Readers & Writers Program (YR&W), which runs for two weeks over the Festival period and brings children's authors to regional and remote schools in the South West.
MRRWF exists to showcase storytelling in all its forms, spark new ideas and conversations, ask big questions, and foster a love of literature. MRRWF promotes, showcases, and champions the works of new, emerging and established authors, journalists, and big thinkers.
The Festival features a program of author talks, book launches, cultural activities, author panels, writers' workshops, highlight events, writers' industry networking sessions, creative storytelling sessions, lectures and seminars, interactive and immersive storytelling, and school visits. Alongside the paid program, the Festival delivers a robust program of free and low-cost community storytelling events to support the needs of the community and ensure accessibility and inclusion for all.
Come along and discover a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community in the picturesque Margaret River region.
