Located right next door to Springbrook National Park and the Purlingbrook Falls walking track, the Dancing Waters Cafe has been established for approximately 17 years.
The proprietor, Anastasia Theodore is passionate about clean, simple wholesome food that can be enjoyed by everyone, not matter their dietary needs. She has developed many of her own recipes like gluten-free and vegan scones and banana bread. The entire menu is a healthy selection of sweet and savoury foods with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives. Salads are popular in the summer months and are dressed with locally made Young's Already Famous Raspberry Vinegar dressing along with olive oil from Anastasia's mother's olive grove in Greece.
A variety of feathered friends frequent the cafe and entertain their patrons. These birds are wild but have become accustomed to human interactions, some more than others especially those rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras and King parrots. They do not encourage patrons to feed the birds as inappropriate foods have devastating effects on their health.
Opening hours can vary over the holidays, so please check their Instagram page for updates.
