Accor Vacation Club is growing. We are excited to announce the upcoming addition of two new resorts to the club: Mantra on View Surfers Paradise and Mantra on Jolimont Melbourne. These are the first new resorts to be added to your Club since Mercure Gold Coast in 2017.

Travel + Leisure Co. secured the development rights for Accor Vacation Club in 2024 with the intent to grow the club and expand holiday opportunities for members. These two new resorts are an important step towards delivering on that commitment.

Initially, a small number of apartments at each resort will be accessible through Accor Vacation Club. We intend to add more apartments at these properties if opportunities arise and the club grows – which we have recently done with Peppers Manly Beach, Freshwater Point Resort Broadbeach, and the Mercure Gold Coast.

Please note that while the Club will not manage these new resorts, both properties will remain under experienced Accor management.

Mantra on View Surfers Paradise

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Mantra On View’s bright, coastal-style accommodation and sweeping ocean views will immediately put you in a holiday state of mind. Freshen up at Surfers Paradise beach – just at the end of the block – walk to the shops or cafes nearby, or soak up the sun on your balcony.

The resort offers buffet breakfast at Nosh Pan Asian, complimentary Wi-Fi, Foxtel, Ocean Day Spa, an onsite salon, fitness centre, and events spaces capable of catering for up to 600 people. Each apartment features a private balcony with partial ocean views, air conditioning, workstation, and ensuite with bath.

Accor Vacation Club intends to acquire the following apartments:

  • 3 x Studio Deluxe

Mantra on Jolimont Melbourne, Accor Vacation Club Apartments

Mantra on Jolimont Melbourne offers a European-inspired stay in the heart of one of the world’s most liveable cities. A short walk from iconic venues like the MCG, AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena, it’s the perfect destination whether you’re an AFL, rugby league, cricket or tennis fan – or you’re in Melbourne to see your favourite act live in concert.

Hotel facilities include heated outdoor pool and spa, complimentary Wi-Fi, onsite gym and Boundary Line Bar & Kitchen. Each apartment offers air conditioning, king bed, kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster and sink), complimentary Wi-Fi, and ensuite.

Accor Vacation Club intends to acquire the following apartments:

  • 1 x 1-bedroom Deluxe
  • 1 x Studio

While the addition of two new resorts is a significant announcement, the Developer remains firmly focused on further quality acquisitions, and hopes to be in a position to make more announcements in the future.

After a total fire ban and Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings over parts of Victoria yesterday, conditions have fortunately improved today.

The Sebel Pinnacle Valley was closed yesterday but will reopen for check-ins and new bookings from tomorrow.

We recommend you visit the CFA website and download the VicEmergency app to keep up-to-date with the latest information.

Some road closures continue to be in place. Air quality is poor with visible smoke in the Pinnacle Valley area.

9 January 2026

We have made the difficult decision to close The Sebel Pinnacle Valley today, January 9, for safety reasons associated with today’s fire conditions.

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) has declared a total fire ban for Victoria for today and issued Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings for large parts of the state. While it appears there is limited fire risk to the resort itself, fire authorities are warning that there is a risk along the access routes, and some roads may be closed.

Members and guests travelling to The Sebel Creswick Forest should still exercise a high degree of caution.

If you are travelling or staying in Victoria, we recommend you visit the CFA website and download the VicEmergency app to keep up-to-date with the latest information.

If you find yourself in danger, please follow the instructions of local fire authorities and your resort team, who will be directed by the CFA.

8 January 2026

Catastrophic Fire Danger – Victoria

The Country Fire Authority has declared a total fire ban for Victoria and Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings for large parts of the state for tomorrow, January 9. Extreme Fire Danger ratings extend to the rest of the state.

We advise members travelling to or staying at The Sebel Creswick Forest and The Sebel Pinnacle Valley to exercise caution.

We strongly recommend visiting the Country Fire Authority’s website and downloading the VicEmergency app to keep up-to-date with the latest information, and to review what is not permitted under a total fire ban.

Our teams will continue monitoring new fire information closely. In the event of a fire starting, please follow the directions of the local fire authorities and your resort team.

ACCOR VACATION CLUB UNVEILS $5.1M REFURBISHMENT OF
THE SEBEL MELBOURNE FLINDERS LANE

Melbourne, Australia, 8 December 2025: The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane is proud to announce the completion of a $5.1 million refurbishment, designed to reinforce the property’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading boutique hotels.

The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane has long been regarded as a standout choice for sophisticated accommodation in Melbourne, and this major upgrade ensures the property continues to deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

The refurbishment – with a theme of “contemporary urban chic” – sees all 60 of the hotel’s suites updated with a lighter colour palette of beige and tan in living areas and dynamic charcoal and grey in the bathrooms. Each suite was refreshed with new furniture, soft furnishings, lighting and décor, while bathroom fittings and fixtures were replaced. The result is a collection of chic, modern suites designed to meet the expectations of Accor Vacation Club members and guests seeking stylish inner-city accommodation.

Public areas have also been revitalised to reflect the fresh design direction with new carpet, artworks and paintwork in corridors, and a complete reconfiguration of the reception to create an inviting check-in area and a relaxing lounge for guests to enjoy, complete with electric fireplace.

Craig Wood, CEO of Accor Vacation Club, said, “We continually upgrade and refresh our properties as part of our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our more than 30,000 members. The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane has always been a much-loved property, and with this multimillion-dollar refurbishment, we’re confident it will remain a standout choice for members who want to be based in the very heart of Melbourne.”

The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane is one of the most sought-after properties in the portfolio of Accor Vacation Club, one of the region’s leading vacation ownership clubs, which includes 24 resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

In line with its sustainability standards, the hotel donated its high-quality pre-loved furniture to local charities, ensuring valuable resources were reused within the community, rather than going to landfill.

Accor Vacation Club is operated by Travel + Leisure Co., a leading leisure travel company, providing more than six million holidays to travellers around the world every year.

1 September 2025 – New Developer Benefit – Lifestyle Club Connect

The Developer has announced a new Lifestyle benefit – “Club Connect”.  This benefit is available to Traveller members and above who have joined the Lifestyle program and allows them to exchange their points with other Accor Vacation Clubs, also effective from 1 September 2025.

Many of you would have recently heard about the launch of Accor Vacation Club Asia Pacific, a new vacation club for Asian consumers to experience the standard of holidays you enjoy as a member of Accor Vacation Club.

The intra-club arrangement allows eligible members of Accor Vacation Club, the new Accor Vacation Club Asia Pacific and the existing Accor Vacation Club Asia, to access inventory in the other Accor Vacation Club-branded clubs.

The booking window for Club Connect is eight months, meaning that club members have an opportunity to book inventory in their own club before members of other clubs have any booking access. Club Connect reservations have a minimum stay of two nights and exclude reservations of only Friday and Saturday night. There is no exchange fee payable but a cleaning entitlement (or a cleaning fee) will be required. When exchanging, you must abide by the other clubs’ rules and guidelines.

A team will monitor the exchange activity taking place between the clubs and will adjust restrictions – both on the number of members who are able to exchange and the inventory available – in order to achieve a long-term balance between clubs. This means that the number of bookings able to be made at the other clubs will be subject to how many bookings their members make in your club.

As Club Connect is a Developer benefit, it can be adjusted or removed at any point in time.

You can find more information in the Product Disclosure Statement here.

If you have any questions regarding this new direction or the new Club Connect benefit, we encourage you to contact Member Services:

We are pleased to announce the rebrand of the Grand Mercure Hunter Valley The Vintage to Peppers Hunter Valley. Your club apartments at the property will now be known as Peppers Hunter Valley, Accor Vacation Club Apartments.

Peppers is a premium Accor brand renowned for providing guests with a sense of refined indulgence, personalised service and attention to detail.
