The refurbishment – with a theme of “contemporary urban chic” – sees all 60 of the hotel’s suites updated with a lighter colour palette of beige and tan in living areas and dynamic charcoal and grey in the bathrooms. Each suite was refreshed with new furniture, soft furnishings, lighting and décor, while bathroom fittings and fixtures were replaced. Public areas have also been revitalised to reflect the fresh design direction with new carpet, artworks and paintwork in corridors, and a complete reconfiguration of the reception to create an inviting check-in area and a relaxing lounge for guests to enjoy, complete with electric fireplace.
